About Me
- Name:Andrew Kaufman
- Location:Brooklyn,Iowa
The theme for the series is Containment and Contamination, which has been a concept from my past as well as the impetus for many other investigations. This series explores the imagery of the box, both open, closed and fractured as multiple metaphors for the individual, family, society or system. Although these concepts have crept forward in my mind, I am trying to create intuitively and formally. The comments tab is enabled for visitors to ask questions, and post criticism and/or accolades.

Andrew,
Congrats on your site. What a great project to experiment with. Will you be creating an installation with these???
Thanks. If there are a significant amount of paintings left in my possession, then I plan on having an exhibition at the end of the yearlong time frame. I have not scheduled this exhibition yet, and do not have a particular venue in mind.
Cool Web Site!
I love your one-a-day project! I've looked at them repeatedly and each time find them interesting. Nice work. I look forward to seeing more in the future!
